Ohio & the Midwest
Maine Coon Kittens
in the Heart of Ohio
Nestled in the Ohio timberlands, Six Springs Timbercoons is within easy reach of Dayton, Columbus, Cincinnati, and families across the Midwest. Our kittens go home to families near and far — but we are proud to call Ohio home.
Where We Are
Rooted in the
Ohio Timberlands
Six Springs Timbercoons is located in west-central Ohio — a quiet stretch of woodland between Dayton and Springfield that gives our cattery its name and character. The six natural springs on our property, the old-growth timber, and the unhurried pace of rural Ohio life shape everything about how we raise our kittens.
We are a short drive from Dayton (about 35 miles), an easy trip from Columbus (about 75 miles), and reachable from Cincinnati in under an hour. Families from across Ohio — and from Indiana, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania — regularly make the drive to meet our cats in person before placing a reservation.
We welcome in-person visits by appointment. There is nothing quite like meeting a Six Springs kitten face to face in the home where they were born and raised.

Why Ohio Families
Choose Six Springs
The Only TICA & CFA Dual-Registered Maine Coon Cattery in West-Central Ohio
Finding a TICA or CFA registered Maine Coon breeder in Ohio takes research. Finding one that holds both registrations — and maintains European bloodlines — is rare. Six Springs Timbercoons is that cattery. We are proud to serve Ohio families who want the best, not just the nearest.
In-Person Visits Welcome — No Shipping Required
Ohio families have the advantage of being able to visit us in person. We encourage it. Come meet our breeding cats, see where your kitten will be born and raised, and leave with confidence. Dayton families are 40 minutes away. Columbus families are just over an hour. We are worth the drive.
Health-Tested to the Highest Standard in the State
Every breeding cat at Six Springs is cardiac-screened annually by a board-certified cardiologist and tested clear for SMA, PKD, and FIV/FeLV. We are not aware of another Maine Coon cattery in the Dayton or Columbus area that meets this standard. Ohio families deserve better than a kitten from an untested programme.
Serving Ohio Families Since 2018
Six Springs Timbercoons has been placing kittens with Ohio families for years. Our alumni live in Dayton, Columbus, Cincinnati, Springfield, Troy, Xenia, and dozens of smaller communities across the state. When you bring home a Six Springs kitten, you join a community of Ohio families who already know what we are about.
